EverythingIsStupid.com aims to be an entertaining oasis for the informed, cynical, or jaded person who’s struggling to find a reason to get out of bed in what we perceive to be the sea of stinking detritus known by the stiffs as modern life.
Its Editor-in-Chief and sometimes-writer of articles is Mike Smolev, founder of Big Hair & Pink Guitars LLC, who tries (increasingly in vain) to maintain some level of online privacy and therefore writes under his pen name Fiddler Biddleton.
Its head scribe is Bex vanKoot, a busy freelance writer, lion tamer and avid traveler, who often refers to herself as a ‘homebody with wanderlust.’ (Okay, maybe only two of those three things are true.) While enjoying getting her snark on by day, Bex also harbors a great passion for passion, spreading the love by managing her personal site GetSexSavvy.com by night. The 28-year-old married Canadian currently lives in small-town Mexico with her husband, two dogs, a cat and whatever donkeys happen to wander into the yard to eat the cacti. She spends her days sipping mojitos, home-cooking and devoting her free time to searching out news worthy of her sarcastic wit. More than anything, she loves to hear from adoring fans, but don’t expect a reply before she’s had her morning coffee unless you are a blatant masochist begging for the full force of her cynicism, which constitutes assault with a blunt object in several English-speaking nations.
